About

Details:

This trip is based on a $150-300 sliding scale to support operating costs. If you would like to sponsor a ticket for someone please purchase a second ticket with "Sponsorship" in the comments. Donations for scholarships can also be made on our Donation Page.

The forest bathing immersion is centered around BIPOC individuals in their journey towards reclamation and reconnection to the natural world. These immersions offer opportunity to experience the healing benefits of the natural world through various mindfulness-based forest bathing activities, space to engage in collaborative activities and conversation that build connection with human and more-than-human kin, and naturalist skills that empower your own wiilderness trips in confidence such as how to set up tents, pack a backpacking pack, navigate with a compass, start a fire, tie knots, and identify various plants and trees.

Please contact Raei@the-rusty-anvil for scholarship information.

Accessibility:

Trail length: 2.0 miles

This trip is for beginners, seasoned backpackers, and everyone in between. Please arrive with a beginner's mind and respect for where everyone is on their journey of returning to the land as this looks different for all of us. This immersion will take participants through a varying terrain. The trail for this immersion is considered easy but a bit technical due to the presence of rocks.
