About

Join us for the BIPOC fire birthing workshop—an immersive overnight experience dedicated to learning and practicing the ancient art of fire birthing.

Are you new to birthing fire? Are you looking for a space where you can learn about fire birthing and how it speaks to your own personal journey?

Consider joining us for a weekend of fire birthing :) from ferro rods to flint & steel to full on friction fire we will explore many different types of fire birthing.

Delve into the ancestral healing practice of friction fire as we explore different methods from regions around the globe. Participants will gain insights into basic carving safety and techniques, choosing between crafting a bow drill kit, hand drill, or a ferro rod.

Venture onto the land to harvest materials for our kits and explore different types of tinder.

As day one concludes, we'll come together for a delightful potluck under the open sky. The entire program is held outdoors.
